By creating an account and using HoneyDo (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
Age Requirement: You must be 13 years or older to use HoneyDo. Users aged 13-17 require verifiable parental consent before creating an account.
For Users 13-17: Your parent or legal guardian must read, understand, and consent to these Terms on your behalf before you use HoneyDo.
For Parents/Guardians: By providing consent for your child (ages 13-17) to use HoneyDo, you agree to be bound by these Terms and are responsible for your child's use of the Service.
2. Description of Service
HoneyDo is a family task management platform that helps families organize, assign, and complete household tasks. Features include:
- Family task creation, assignment, and tracking
- Task priority and scheduling tools
- Family collaboration and communication
- Contractor recommendations and referrals (optional)
- Task analytics and completion tracking
- Notifications and reminders
- Calendar integration
Service Availability: We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with or without notice.
3. Account Registration and Eligibility
3.1 Age Verification
- Minimum Age: Users must be 13 years or older
- Under 13: If we discover a user is under 13, their account will be immediately terminated
- Ages 13-17: Require verifiable parental consent before account activation
- Age Verification Process: Users must provide their birth date during registration for age verification purposes
3.2 Parental Consent (Ages 13-17)
Consent Process:
- Minor provides parent/guardian email during registration
- We send a consent verification email to the parent
- Parent must click verification link and confirm consent
- Account is activated only after parental consent is verified
Parental Responsibilities:
- Parents are responsible for monitoring their child's use of HoneyDo
- Parents can review, modify, or delete their child's data at any time
- Parents will receive notifications about their child's account activity
- Parents can revoke consent at any time by contacting coppa@honeydolist.vip
3.3 Account Security
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your password
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Do not share your account credentials with others
Our Rights:
- Suspend or terminate accounts for Terms violations
- Refuse service to anyone at any time
- Require additional verification for suspicious activity
4. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities
4.1 Acceptable Use
You agree to use HoneyDo only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms.
4.2 Prohibited Activities
You may NOT:
- Use the Service if you are under 13 years old
- Provide false information during registration
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Upload viruses, malware, or malicious code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Scrape, crawl, or data mine the Service
- Reverse engineer or decompile the Service
- Use the Service for illegal activities
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Share inappropriate content with minors
- Circumvent parental consent requirements
Consequences: Violation of prohibited activities may result in immediate account termination and legal action.
5. Family Accounts and Data
5.1 Family Creation and Management
- Family Admin: The account creator becomes the family administrator
- Family Members: Admins can invite additional family members
- Member Roles: Parent, Teen (13-17), or Child (with parental supervision)
- Data Sharing: All family members can view shared family tasks and activities
5.2 Family Data Ownership
- Your Data: You retain ownership of all data you create (tasks, notes, etc.)
- Family Data: Data created within a family is accessible to all family members
- Account Deletion: Deleting your account removes your personal data but may not delete shared family data created by other members
5.3 Multi-Family Memberships
- Users can belong to multiple family groups
- Each family has separate tasks, data, and permissions
- You control which families you join and can leave at any time
6. Subscription Plans and Billing
6.1 Subscription Tiers
Free Tier:
- Up to 5 family members
- Basic task management features
- Limited contractor recommendations
Premium Tier (Paid Subscription):
- Unlimited family members
- Advanced task analytics
- Priority contractor recommendations
- Calendar integration
- Premium support
6.2 Billing Terms
Payment Processing:
- All payments processed securely through Stripe
- We do not store your full credit card information
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually (based on your selection)
Automatic Renewal:
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled
- You will be charged at the beginning of each billing cycle
- Renewal charges use the payment method on file
Price Changes:
- We reserve the right to change subscription prices
- You will receive 30 days' notice of any price increases
- Price changes apply at your next renewal date
Cancellation:
- You may cancel your subscription at any time
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
- No refunds for partial billing periods
Failed Payments:
- If payment fails, we will attempt to charge your payment method multiple times
- After failed payment attempts, your account may be downgraded to Free tier
- You are responsible for any fees charged by your bank or card issuer
6.3 Refund Policy
No Refunds: All subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
Exceptions:
- Technical issues preventing service access (we will investigate and may issue credits)
- Billing errors (we will correct and refund overcharges)
- Legal requirements in your jurisdiction
7. Contractor Referrals and Third-Party Services
7.1 Contractor Recommendations
- HoneyDo may recommend local contractors for certain tasks
- We are NOT responsible for contractor work quality, safety, or reliability
- Contractor recommendations are provided for convenience only
- You are responsible for vetting contractors before hiring
7.2 Third-Party Relationships
Independent Contractors:
- All contractors are independent third parties, not HoneyDo employees
- We do not control, supervise, or guarantee their services
- Disputes with contractors must be resolved directly with the contractor
Background Checks:
- We may provide information about contractor licensing and reviews
- You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence
- We do not verify contractor credentials or insurance
Payments to Contractors:
- All contractor payments are made directly to the contractor
- HoneyDo does not process contractor service payments
- We may receive referral fees from contractors (disclosed in Privacy Policy)
7.3 Liability Disclaimer
HoneyDo is NOT liable for:
- Contractor work quality, delays, or failures
- Property damage caused by contractors
- Injuries occurring during contractor work
- Disputes between you and contractors
- Contractor fraud, negligence, or misconduct
Your Responsibility: Always obtain written contracts, verify insurance, and use licensed professionals for complex or dangerous tasks.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
8.1 HoneyDo's Intellectual Property
Our Rights:
- HoneyDo name, logo, and branding are our trademarks
- All Service code, design, and functionality are our intellectual property
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the Service
- You may not use our trademarks without written permission
8.2 Your Content
Content You Create:
- You retain ownership of tasks, notes, and data you create
- By using the Service, you grant us a license to store, process, and display your content
- This license is necessary to provide the Service (e.g., showing your tasks to family members)
- The license terminates when you delete your content or account
Content Standards:
- You are responsible for all content you create
- You must not upload illegal, offensive, or harmful content
- We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms
9. Privacy and Data Protection
9.1 Privacy Policy
Your use of HoneyDo is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

Your Responsibility:
- Use a strong, unique password
- Do not share your login credentials
- Log out when using shared devices
- Report suspicious activity immediately
No Guarantee: While we implement strong security, no system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
10.1 Service Provided "AS IS"
HoneyDo is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Warranties of merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Accuracy, reliability, or completeness
- Uninterrupted or error-free service
10.2 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HONEYDO AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill
- Service interruptions or data loss
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
- Third-party actions (including contractors)
- Any damages exceeding the amount you paid to HoneyDo in the 12 months before the claim
10.3 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HoneyDo from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of another person or entity
- Content you upload to the Service
- Your interactions with contractors
11. Termination
11.1 Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time by:
- Using the account deletion feature in Settings
- Emailing support@honeydolist.vip with a deletion request
Effect of Termination:
- Your account and personal data will be deleted within 30 days
- Shared family data created by other members may remain
- Subscription fees are non-refundable (no prorated refunds)
11.2 Termination by HoneyDo
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if:
- You violate these Terms
- You are under 13 years old
- You provide false information
- You engage in fraudulent activity
- You abuse or harass other users
- Your account poses a security risk
- Required by law or government request
Effect of Termination by HoneyDo:
- Immediate loss of access to the Service
- Deletion of your account and data
- No refund of subscription fees

12. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
12.1 Informal Dispute Resolution
Before filing a claim, you agree to:
- Contact us at support@honeydolist.vip to describe the dispute
- Provide your account information and details of the issue
- Allow us 30 days to resolve the dispute informally
Most disputes can be resolved through customer support. This saves time and money for both parties.
12.2 Binding Arbitration
If informal resolution fails, you agree to binding arbitration:
- Arbitration is conducted by the American Arbitration Association (AAA)

- Arbitration uses AAA's Consumer Arbitration Rules
- The arbitrator's decision is final and binding
- You waive your right to a jury trial

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
14.3 No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce it later.
14.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account to another person. We may assign these Terms to another entity at any time.
14.5 Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, or internet service failures.
14.6 Electronic Communications
By using HoneyDo, you consent to receive electronic communications from us, including emails, push notifications, and in-app messages. These communications are part of your relationship with us.
14.7 Export Restrictions
You agree not to export or re-export the Service in violation of U.S. export control laws.
16. Consent to These Terms
By creating an account and using HoneyDo, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service.
For Users 13-17: Your parent or guardian must review and consent to these Terms on your behalf before you use HoneyDo.
For Parents: By providing consent for your child to use HoneyDo, you acknowledge that you have reviewed these Terms and agree to be bound by them on behalf of your child.
These Terms of Service are effective as of October 17, 2025 and were last updated on October 17, 2025.
